After a long Friday of parent-teacher conferences, I had a much needed break. On Friday night, there was a birthday party for one of my teammates. On Saturday, I went to my first baseball game here. Go Caracas Leones (Lions)! Finally on Sunday, we put up our Christmas tree. This might seem early to many of you, but now is when decorations start going up in Caracas. Most fall holidays that I am use to aren't celebrated here by most people. Plus, it never really feels like fall or almost Christmas time because it is always so warm, so we start celebrating early. I spent the rest of my time this weekend preparing for school, going grocery shopping, and going to church. I am excited for this coming week of school! My students have some fun projects and lessons coming up, which I am excited to share with you when they finish.
