I apologize for the lack of posts/communication during second quarter. Second quarter was very busy and filled with extra work to prepare for accreditation. School was filled with special days like International Day and Christmas Around the World, Network November (check out
the blog), projects, and Christmas activities. Teachers were also busy finishing writing unit plans for our special visitor in December to see. During Thanksgiving break, I was blessed with a break and a trip to Angel Falls, which is the highest waterfall in the world and right here in Venezuela. Below are some pictures of my life throughout second quarter.

During Fall Break, some friends and I went to Oktoberfest in a nearby town.

This fall, we went on a staff retreat to a small German town
named Colonia Tovar. The architecture was beautiful
and very different from Caracas. |

In November, we had our annual fundraiser, Fall Festival.

Another big part of the fundraiser is raffles. Each class puts together a basket
to be raffled. This year, my class put together the toolbox. |

Fall Festival was a success! Kids had fun, money was raised,
and teachers connected with parents. |

Second quarter was busy, but God definitely used it to teach my class and I some valuable lessons.
