This past week (and coming week), I have been at Pre-Field Orientation with NICS (Network of International Christian Schools). We spend two weeks learning about our transition to living overseas, how to teach third culture kids (kids who are living in a culture different from their passport), safety, managing conflict, and much more. I have also enjoyed meeting many people who are going to teach all over the world including others from my school! There are six of us going to ICS Caracas (as seen in the pictures), and it's been a joy to meet them before we leave.I officially leave in less than one month. Time is flying. I have another week of orientation, vacation with my family, and then a few weeks at home to finish packing. I am feeling both excited and nervous. I appreciate your prayers as I am in this transition.
Prayers Requests and Praises-Finances are coming together! I already bought my tickets for Christmas.
-Transition as I prepare to move.
-Figuring out how to set up and manage my classroom.
-Growing closer as a school group.
-Rest after a busy orientation.
